Earlier this month, Phi Beta Kappa, the nation's oldest and most prestigious academic honor society, elected 44 new members from Hobart and William Smith Colleges into its Zeta Chapter. Fourteen of the inductees are student-athletes.

Five Hobart College sophomores and 10 juniors were presented the Arnold Memorial Scholar-Athlete Award for the 2020-21 academic year.

Both the Hobart and William Smith cross country teams were honored for their collective efforts in the classroom. The Statesmen and Herons were named 2020 All-Academic Teams by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
